Internship Experience – Technology Strategy Analyst Intern Serving as an intern in the Technology Strategy practice area, you will support developing and enhancing the Technology Strategy SharePoint Hub. This role involves conducting research, creating and organizing documentation, and collaborating closely with the team to ensure the practice’s technology strategy and long‑term vision.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and improving the Technology Strategy SharePoint hub
Conduct research to support strategic technology initiatives
Develop, organize, and maintain documentation and content
Contribute to efforts that strengthen and refine the Service Delivery technology strategy and vision
Participate in internal meetings and project planning
Learn and apply NYSTEC tools and processes while collaborating with internal and external partners
Required Qualifications
Conduct research and gather information to support projects and business initiatives
Assist with business analysis activities, including identifying needs and evaluating potential solutions
Apply knowledge of consulting and technology industry trends to contribute ideas and insights
Use various software tools and technologies to complete assignments and support team deliverables
Education and Experience
This program seeks undergraduate and graduate students with excellent leadership potential. We look for diverse educational and professional experience.
Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a concentration in a business or technology related program.
Schedule and Compensation The NYSTEC Don Hanson Internship Program for summer 2026 will run from May 18 – August 7. The typical schedule will be during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Specific hours can be negotiated based on the intern's availability.
$22 per hour for undergraduate students
$24 per hour for graduate students
