Executive Assistant to the Executive Director (CRA)

This position requires a highly professional individual to serve as the principal administrative assistant to, and primary contact for the Executive Director. This individual must be able to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment, while exhibiting the utmost discretion and judgment.

Provide executive-level administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, travel logistics, and document preparation.

Manage NMCRA Board agenda process and required follow-up, including but not limited to preparation of minutes.

Conduct research and analysis as directed by the Executive Director.

Brief weekly with the Executive Director.

Liaise closely with NMCRA’s Communications consultant on communications matters including the production of the newsletter.

Liaise with City departments and other agencies on behalf of the Executive Director.

Responsible for preparing public records request responses.

Spearhead grantee groundbreakings and grand openings, and other NMCRA functions.

Maintain quality filing and communications systems, including contact management, document management, and archiving.

Attend meetings with the Executive Director as needed.

Process invoices as needed.

Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

3-5 years' administrative experience, preferably in the public sector.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with cloud-based collaboration tools.

Valid Florida Driver’s Licen

Detail oriented and able to adapt to changing priorities with ease.

Ability to clearly express ideas concisely, orally and in writing.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to abide by confidentiality requirements.

Physically able to perform duties.

Bilingual preferred but not required – Spanish or Haitian Creole
