Job Purpose
Assist with the overall administration, marketing and promotion of all Recreational Services programs and services
Duties and Responsibilities
Create promotional materials and assist in the marketing of Recreational Services programming through social media and other interpersonal methods
Assist in the implementation of various technological platforms to maximize efficiency of Recreational Services programs and overall departmental marketing, including (but not limited to) IMLeagues and Sling.
Represent the Office of Recreational Services at various promotional events held on campus throughout the year
Attend all Recreational Services staff meetings as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc)
Working knowledge of creating marketing strategies and campaigns
Experience with (1) graphic design and (2) online content creation/development
Prior knowledge/experience working with social media or graphic design is preferred
Preferred Skills
Ability to organize and coordinate simultaneous projects
Effective communication skills both verbally and written
Strong creativity and leadership skills
Pay Rate Pay Rate 10.00
