Role Purpose Includes creating, writing, and editing communications and materials for a variety of projects and managing digital channels. Plans, develops, and coordinates marketing/communications programs to support business priorities. Mindfully delivers Corning branding/product messages primarily for employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Support internal communications manager and team on various projects, corporate initiatives, and brand efforts
Support development of videos, visual presentations, promotional materials, and other deliverables
Support communications colleagues across internal communications as needed
Support creative storytelling methods to build awareness and excitement for employee engagement and employee communications
Ensure materials are compliant with corporate brand guidelines, across all channels
Experiences/Education - Required
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
Minimum two years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues, and create a concise and well-written narrative.
Ability to write and develop global communications content that appeals to employees at various levels of the enterprise.
Skilled at working well under pressure, adaptable to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Capable of working independently and interdependently.
Ability to take initiative and direction.
Possess a demonstrated work ethic and a commitment to delivering outstanding work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, moderate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Web publishing experience preferred.
Self-motivated to achieve excellence.
Strong interpersonal skills, especially in listening, innate curiosity, problem solving, and influencing.
Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate global time zones.
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
Customer focused and results driven.

The range for this position is $70,350.00-$96,732.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
