About This Role Carrier is transforming HVAC through connected systems, AI, and intelligent energy optimization. We are seeking a high‑caliber Product Manager to lead digital solutions for our Ductless portfolio. This role combines hands‑on execution with meaningful ownership of product direction. You will own the product backlog and roadmap execution — while actively contributing to product strategy, differentiation, and long‑term vision.
Key Responsibilities What You Will Own:
End-to-end product backlog and delivery execution
Multi-quarter roadmap for Ductless digital solutions
Feature prioritization grounded in customer insight and business impact
Measurable outcomes: adoption, connected penetration, reliability, and operational efficiency
Roadmap & Execution Leadership:
Translate product strategy into well‑defined roadmaps and actionable backlogs
Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high‑quality releases
Balance innovation with reliability and product quality
Strategic Contribution:
Contribute to 2–3-year digital vision for Ductless systems
Identify differentiation opportunities across connectivity, AI, and ecosystem integration
Use customer research, field insights, and data to inform roadmap direction
Influence hardware and platform decisions to support digital differentiation
Business & Outcome Accountability:
Define and track KPIs tied to adoption, engagement, quality, and commercial performance
Build business cases for major initiatives
Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure initiatives drive measurable impact
Technical & Ecosystem Alignment:
Engage in architecture discussions across firmware, IoT connectivity, APIs, and cloud platforms
Ensure seamless integration with Carrier’s Smart Home App and broader digital ecosystem
Advocate for scalable, reusable platform capabilities
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Align hardware, firmware, mobile, cloud, marketing, and sales teams around shared priorities
Drive launch readiness and post‑launch adoption
Operate with autonomy while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of product management experience in digital or connected products
1+ years of experience in IoT, connected devices, or cloud platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ownership of backlog and roadmap execution
Experience contributing to product strategy and long‑term planning
Strong technical fluency in IoT, APIs, cloud platforms, and mobile ecosystems
Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority
Strong analytical and business acumen
HVAC, ductless, or connected home experience preferred

Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
