Mechanical Designer,
you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver high‑quality designs for technically challenging and rewarding projects. We expose our designers to a variety of complex projects, arming them with the experience, resources, and support to succeed. As a mid‑market firm with a close‑knit culture, we focus on the delivery of high‑quality engineering and design services for notable industry‑leading clients in the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical industries.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performing Field Surveys
Develop Conceptual Designs and layouts with the support of an engineer for the following:
Ductwork Distribution Systems
Piping Distribution Systems
Airflow and Piping Diagrams
Pressurization Plans
General Equipment Arrangement Plans
Development of Details, Schedules, Sections, and Elevations
Coordinating with other Discipline Engineers, Architects, and Contractors.
Review Ductwork and Piping Shop Drawings
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of progressively responsible mechanical design experience, including the development of full design packages for technically complex building systems.
Successful candidates will be proficient with the latest version of REVIT 3D, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
Proven ability to take ownership of mechanical design scope from conceptual layout through construction documents, with minimal oversight.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
