Help Us Build What Great Identity UX Should Be We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to shape not just our product, but how we design.
You’ll collaborate closely with our U.S.-based product leadership and our highly skilled engineering team in Hungary to design and ship intuitive, scalable identity experiences. This is a highly collaborative, cross-time‑zone role that requires clarity, ownership, and strong communication.
You’ll help us ship meaningful improvements quickly while gradually introducing stronger UX practices, research habits, and scalable design foundations as we grow.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with our Hungary‑based engineering team to design and deliver features in short cycles
Communicate clearly and proactively across time zones using async tools and well‑documented design artifacts
Join regular overlap hours with engineering to review flows, edge cases, and implementation details
Ensure design intent is preserved through development and QA
Ship Value Quickly
Move fluidly from rough concepts to practical, usable solutions
Design workflows and navigation that simplify complex identity and security challenges
Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI when appropriate — without over‑designing
Balance speed with long‑term scalability
Bring Structure Without Slowing Us Down
Introduce lightweight UX processes that improve clarity and reduce rework
Identify research opportunities and run lean validation sessions
Advocate for users while respecting business urgency and technical realities
Design for Complexity
Translate technical identity and security concepts into intuitive experiences
Think in systems — flows, permissions, states, error handling, edge cases
Sweat the details of usability and micro‑interactions
Who You Are
5+ years designing SaaS or complex digital products
Experience working with distributed or international engineering teams
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growing company
High ownership, low ego, strong bias toward action
Strong systems thinker with attention to interaction details
Clear communicator who documents decisions and aligns stakeholders effectively
Comfortable balancing “move fast” with “build it right”
Bonus
Experience in identity, authentication, security, or developer‑facing products
Experience introducing UX practices in growing teams
Experience building or scaling design systems
How We Work We move quickly. We ship often. We improve continuously.
Our product leadership is based in the U.S., and our engineering team is in Hungary. Collaboration, transparency, and thoughtful async communication are essential to how we work. Design has strong executive support, and this role will have meaningful influence across both product direction and engineering execution.
We’re building toward world‑class UX maturity, without losing the speed and pragmatism that define us.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation
Health, dental, and vision coverage
401(k) with company match
Flexible PTO
Hybrid flexibility (Herndon, VA) or remote within Eastern U.S. time zones
The opportunity to shape both product and design culture
Additional Information We are currently hiring candidates authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor employment visas at this time.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on legally protected characteristics.
