About The Business Development Representative MarketStar is looking for a sales professional to represent our client as they continue their successful expansion into the enterprise corporate space. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a strategic leader on a pivotal team at the forefront of the latest technology and work with one of the top three companies in the world.

Your responsibility will be to generate and qualify sales‑qualified opportunities within complex enterprise and corporate accounts. You will be a key contributor to MarketStar's mission by developing and executing strategic outreach plans and acting as a subject matter expert on how our client’s solutions can transform business operations. You will cover the EMEA Enterprise and Corporate markets, but may also provide mentorship and strategic support across other regions.

Location:

Hybrid, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office)

What Will You Do?

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails with the power of the brand behind you

Explore new business opportunities within certain target industries and personas

Present product value to potential clients

Identify client needs and suggest appropriate solutions

Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and enterprise sales team

Adhere to daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

Achieve established sales goals and objectives

Serve as product and service advocate for the client, build interest and awareness of client’s value proposition, and assess mutual fit

Learn and maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of client’s products and services

Champion our success stories and share with targeted companies in interesting industries and territories.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

Fluent in English (Read, Write & Speak); A Native, or Fluent Proficiency in German, French or Spanish is a preferred

2 years of BDR experience

Experience working with IT decision makers

Experience with outreach sales strategies and prospecting companies in the EMEA region

Highly driven with a passion for sales and for developing as a sales professional

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Track record of achieving sales quotas

Business Development or sales experience (SaaS experience preferable)

Strong sales aptitude skills, solutions oriented with a passion for the customer and the customer experience

CRM, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach.IO and other sales tech stack experience preferred.

Tech savvy with a passion for technology and the ability to learn, comprehend, and explain technology.

Experience self-prospecting leads and building your own pipeline

The pay for this position is base salary per annum of €40,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €20,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
