The Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for proactively prospecting and engaging new potential customers through high‑volume cold outreach to generate qualified sales opportunities. This role partners closely with Account Executives by identifying, contacting, and qualifying net‑new prospects and scheduling product demos that convert into pipeline.
Outbound BDRs take full ownership of their prospecting territory from initial contact through completed demos and closed deals. High performance comes from disciplined daily outreach, creative messaging, and relentless consistency in executing Fullbay's proven sales motion. Expected to consistently achieve monthly quota for completed qualified demos and contribute to pipeline creation targets aligned with sales‑team goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and multi‑touch cadences to engage cold and net‑new prospects
Maintain a minimum of 115 unique dials daily to drive top‑of‑funnel activity and pipeline generation
Qualify prospects based on Fullbay's criteria and schedule demos with Account Executives
Own the full prospecting lifecycle from initial outreach through completed qualified demo
Research and identify target accounts and key decision‑makers within the heavy‑duty repair industry
Maintain accurate lead and prospect status, notes, and next steps in Salesforce
Use automation tools and cadences to follow structured outreach workflows
Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure strong demo handoffs and pipeline consistency
Meet or exceed monthly targets for completed qualified demos
Attend weekly coaching sessions, 1:1s, floor syncs, and training with the methodology coach
Track personal performance metrics and keep CRM data accurate and up to date
Stay informed on Fullbay product updates, industry trends, and customer pain points
Demonstrate strong product knowledge and clearly communicate Fullbay's value proposition to cold prospects
Adhere to Fullbay's rules of engagement, lead SLAs, and all confidentiality and compliance regulations
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to commute to the Phoenix office a minimum of 3 days per week in accordance with Fullbay's hybrid work schedule
Participate in ongoing product and sales training to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Fullbay's platform
Participate in team workshops, role‑play exercises, and skill‑building sessions to continuously improve outreach effectiveness
Attend scheduled 1:1s with direct manager to review performance, pipeline activity, and development goals
Engage in team meetings and floor syncs to stay aligned on sales priorities and messaging updates
Support team campaigns and outreach initiatives as directed by sales leadership
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
Minimum GED or High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred)
1–2+ years of experience in a sales or sales development role
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive phone and email outreach
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with web technologies
Experience with CRMs and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Chilipiper, or similar)
Proficient with online meeting and web conferencing software
Strong organization and time management skills; ability to work independently in a fast‑paced SaaS environment
Numerically literate and data‑driven; comfortable working with metrics and exceeding monthly quotas
Proven track record of success and over‑achievement in a work or academic setting
Self‑starter with a positive attitude, confidence, and a drive to be the best
Creative problem‑solver who can think on their feet to address prospect needs
Collaborative team player who thrives juggling multiple priorities
Ability to travel up to 25%
