SMPO Technology Services Sales Leader As an SMPO Services Sales Specialist – IBM Expert Labs, you will own and drive IBM Expert Labs’ competitive software migration strategy and accelerate growth of migration services across designated Americas markets, with a strong focus on the IBM Mainframe (z/OS) platform.

This is a senior, client‑facing services sales role within Technology Expert Labs, requiring strategic ownership of priority pursuits, deep competitive insight, and executive‑level engagement. You will define migration sales solution strategies, build and govern pipeline, develop ROI‑driven business cases, and engage directly with C‑suite, senior IT, and Line of Business executives to deliver high‑impact, transformational outcomes leveraging IBM software, services, and expert‑level technical capabilities.

Responsibilities In this role, you will:

Own Competitive Migration Sales Strategy for IBM Expert Labs Define and execute Technology Expert Labs’ competitive software migration and displacement initiatives, aligning IBM services, software, and expert capabilities to client business priorities and modernization agendas.

Manage the Sales opportunity in alignment with a Cross‑Brand Solution Teams Orchestrate and influence multi‑disciplinary teams across IBM Expert Labs, Software Sales, Technical Specialists, and Delivery to design differentiated, value‑led solutions and drive high‑value deal closure.

Drive Material Revenue and Pipeline Growth Own market‑level pipeline and revenue objectives, set challenging growth targets, ensure forecast accuracy, and actively manage deal progression for large, complex, multi‑stakeholder opportunities.

Engage and Influence at Executive Level Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives, articulating compelling migration strategies, risk mitigation approaches, and ROI‑backed transformation business cases aligned to client outcomes.

Shape Market and Go‑to‑Market Execution Influence and execute go‑to‑market strategies for Technology Expert Labs migration services, proactively identify new opportunities, and lead quarterly business and pipeline reviews to drive continuous performance improvement.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of senior sales or services sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of closing large, complex, multi‑brand deals involving executive stakeholders.

5+ years of IBM Mainframe / IBM Z experience, combining strong technical understanding with commercial, including vendors/cross border, migration, delivery, services and modernization expertise.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization, coordinating virtual teams across geographies and disciplines.

Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proven experience developing ROI models, financial justifications, and executive‑ready value propositions.
