Job Overview Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy, the Brand Strategist is a client-facing strategy leader. You will be responsible for shaping and executing creative social strategies across organic and paid social campaigns, and also serve as a primary steward of the client relationship and its success.
You will act as the day-to-day strategic lead and a relationship owner for at least one key account, responsible for overall client satisfaction, long-term relationship health, and the quality and impact of work delivered. You will interface with senior decision-makers and day-to-day client contacts, and ensure neuemotion is consistently delivering meaningful value.
This is a hands-on strategic role. In addition to leading thinking and direction, you will stay close to execution, including overseeing content calendars, shaping copy, collaborating directly with client teams to finalize assets, and helping move work from idea to approval to live post. This requires not only an authentic passion and curiosity about social best practices, but energy and excitement in a fast-paced and constantly shifting environment. Strategy at neuemotion doesn’t live in decks alone. It shows up in what actually goes out into the world.
Internally, you will partner closely with Project Management and Production to ensure strategy, creative, and execution remain tightly aligned.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Creative Leadership
Shape insight-driven brand and campaign strategies across organic and paid social
Translate data and insights into compelling, social-first creative ideas and content
Ensure recommendations are actionable, innovative, and grounded in performance thinking
Maintain strategic coherence across content, campaigns, and channels
Account Ownership & Client Leadership
Serve as a primary relationship owner for assigned account(s)
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and day-to-day partners
Translate client objectives and requests into clear, actionable direction for internal teams
Execution & Client-Embedded Partnership
Oversee and guide client content calendars
Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to align on direction, refine assets, and drive approvals
Shape and review post copy, scripts, and messaging to ensure strategic integrity
Monitor social listening tools and provide regular performance reporting to clients
Help move work from concept through final asset and live post
Stay close enough to execution to ensure strategy is showing up in-market
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Project Managers on communication, timelines and delivery
Collaborate with Production to ensure strategic intent carries through to final assets
Act as the connective tissue between client, project management, and production
Communication & Deliverables
Lead client meetings and presentations
Create and oversee decks, one-sheets, case studies, and storyboards
Craft and guide copy across materials, from pitch decks to content scripts to social post copy
Trends & Insights
Surface relevant trends, platform shifts, and cultural moments
Educate clients and internal teams on what’s working and why
Requirements
4–7+ years of experience in brand strategy, content strategy, social marketing, or agency environments; ideally with B2B, and specifically SaaS, brands
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Proven ability to translate insights into actionable creative concepts
Experience driving client relationships and presenting to senior stakeholders
