The Role: Social Manager - DAZN

As

Social Manager – DAZN , you will be responsible for

leading the team of internal content creators dedicated to covering DAZN’s key company priorities across boxing, football, NFL, and other major rights .

Sitting within the

Social team

and reporting into the

VP of Social & Content , this role focuses on

strategy, programming, and people management across multiple social handles . You will ensure the internal multisport creator team is flexible and effectively deployed to support

sport‑specific priority handles

(e.g. Boxing, Football, NFL), while also programming and contributing to the

@DAZN

handle as a supporting, cross‑sport channel.

This is a player‑coach role requiring strong editorial judgement across multiple sports, clear leadership, and the ability to still create and publish content when needed.

This role will be based primarily in our New York office, working shifts across Monday - Sunday.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the

internal multisport Social Content Creator team

aligned to DAZN’s key company priorities

Plan and coordinate coverage across

sport‑specific priority handles

(Boxing, Football, NFL) and the

@DAZN

handle

Own the programming strategy for the multisport team, ensuring creators are scheduled effectively across key events, fights, and matchdays

Program the

@DAZN

handle to amplify major moments and stories across DAZN’s rights portfolio

Ensure the team can flex across sports depending on the calendar, priorities, and live moments

Act as an editorial decision‑maker during live events, ensuring fast, accurate, and platform‑native publishing

Create content yourself — filming, editing, posting, and clipping live feeds

Work closely with sport‑specific social leads, Editorial, Creative, Marketing, and Production teams

Use performance insights to optimise coverage plans, internal creator deployment, and content mix

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience leading social teams within sports or media environments

Strong multi‑sport editorial knowledge, including boxing, football, NFL, and other major sports

Experience managing

internal content creators

and scheduling coverage across multiple simultaneous priorities

Clear understanding of how sport‑specific social handles and generalist brand handles work together

Confidence creating end‑to‑end social content alongside your team

Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution

Deep understanding of social programming, live coverage, and platform dynamics

Calm, decisive leadership in fast‑paced, live sports environments
