Website & SEO Specialist Patrick Dealer Group Position Summary The Website & SEO Specialist is responsible for maintaining the technical health, search visibility, compliance, and performance of all Patrick Dealer Group websites. This role ensures websites remain optimized, fully functional, and aligned with OEM guidelines while supporting traffic growth and lead generation across multiple automotive brands.

The in house position works closely with the Marketing Manager, website providers, and third‑party vendors to identify issues, implement improvements, and monitor performance. Please submit your current resume and cover letter.

Starting Hourly Rate $28.00 to $31.00 /hour based on experience.

Core Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Execution

Manage ongoing SEO/AI initiatives, including:

New model year landing page updates

Localized SEO page creation

Q&A content development for search visibility

Conduct quarterly SEO audits and implement recommended improvements

Monitor organic performance trends and identify growth opportunities

Collaborate on content strategy to improve rankings and traffic

Technical Website Oversight

Monitor and resolve website technical issues across all rooftops

Troubleshoot and escape inventory feed errors

Investigate and resolve digital retailing (DR) calculation issues

Coordinate fixes with website providers and 3rd party integration

Test core site functionality including forms, SRPs, VDPs, and CTAs

Compliance & Guideline Management

Implement updates when new OEM or brand guidelines are released

Audit websites to ensure ongoing compliance (e.g., pricing rules such as Land Rover requirements)

Proactively identify risks that could trigger compliance violations

Coordinate required updates across all affected sites

Performance Reporting & Analysis

Produce internal monthly website reporting and reconciliation

Validate traffic and lead data across GA4 and website platforms

Support and participate in monthly website performance meetings

Identify anomalies, tracking gaps, and optimization opportunities

Third-Party Platform Oversight Monitor functionality, performance, and user experience of key website tools:

Chat platforms

Service Scheduler

Digital Retailing tools

Responsibilities include:

Routine functionality testing

Identifying breakpoints or performance issues

Coordinating fixes with vendors

Ensuring proper lead flow and customer experience

Continuous Improvement & Strategy Support

Brainstorm ideas to improve:

Website conversion

User experience

SEO visibility

Stay current on automotive digital trends and platform updates

Support special projects and cross-department initiatives as needed

Qualifications

2–4+ years website management, SEO, or digital marketing experience

Automotive website platform experience preferred

Working knowledge of:

GA4

Google Tag Manager

SEO best practices

Basic HTML/CSS

Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Experience troubleshooting feeds or digital retailing tools preferred

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to include Illustrator, Photoshop, and LightRoom

Knowledgeable in digital marketing including social media, SEO, SEM, and analytics

Knowledge of HTML and CSS and website best practices including SEO

Word Press

Knowledge of online business listings such as Google My Business, Bing, Yelp, Yahoo, etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail, especially around compliance

Ability to manage multiple websites and deadlines

Note Ability to travel as needed to support departmental and associated functions, including events. Ability to work outside regular business hours when necessary for website updates and maintenance.
