The Corinthian Yacht Club is a private, member-owned club situated on scenic Marblehead Harbor. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Pool Director to join our team for the 2026 summer season (May-September).
Our vibrant pool community is eager to welcome a knowledgeable, dedicated, and engaging leader. You'll be working with a long-tenured aquatics team in a fun, collaborative environment that values both professionalism and camaraderie.
The Assistant Pool Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for members, and supporting a well-functioning, enthusiastic staff alongside or in the absence of the Pool Director.
Key Dates:
Season Opening Day: May 23, 2026 Season Closing Day: September 13, 2026 The pool operates 7 days a week from 6am-9pm Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead/support the daily operation and maintenance of the outdoor Swimming Pool Complex. Manage and support staff in the daily operations, cleaning, and maintenance responsibilities. Coaching of swim lessons and local meets throughout the season Support the educational, recreational, and competitive swim programs. Support the planning and execution of pool social events- Splash Parties, Annual Water Show, and Family Nights. Qualifications:
BS/BA degree ideal but not required. Competitive swimming background, helpful but not required. Current certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding required. Schedule and Pay
Weekend, evening and holiday shifts are required. Hourly wage $26 - $29/hr, commensurate with experience. Must be 21 years of age or older.
