Exciting Opportunity: We’re seeking a Social Media Intern to join us at The Denman Group | Compass!

Are you the friend who always knows the best TikTok trends before they blow up? Do you love creating engaging content, want hands‑on experience in real estate marketing, and have an eye for aesthetics (especially homes/interior design)? Our dynamic, fast‑paced real estate team in Boston is looking for a Social Media Intern who’s creative, loves to be in the field, enjoys editing, and thrives on increasing social media views and followers! This paid position will be from May through August 2025.

What You’ll Do

Create inspiring content across all social platforms: Develop captivating content that showcases The Denman Group’s listings, team members, and unique differentiators. Each topic should be promoted consistently and cohesively across all platforms, including (but not limited to) social media Reels/TikToks, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.

Create engaging and inspiring Instagram content daily: Leverage The Denman Group’s analytics to identify the types of content that generate the highest engagement. Use this data to craft compelling Instagram Reels, static posts, and stories that captivate our audience while also effectively promoting our current listings, events, team members and more.

Content Strategist: Help identify and develop our top content pillars, which will serve as the foundation for weekly social media content. Examples of key audiences/pillars include our consumers/people we don’t know (“Client Prospect” Pillar), local friends/clients/businesses (“Community Connection” Pillar), real estate agents (“Industry Expertise/Education” Pillar), local vendors/partners (“Partnership” Pillar), and so forth.

Create a Social Media Plan & Schedule Content: Use Monday.com to develop a comprehensive monthly social media plan, outlining seven posts per week. This plan will integrate all brand pillars while also highlighting timely listings, events, and more. We will utilize a scheduling platform, such as AgoraPulse, to efficiently manage and schedule the content.

Engage Across All Social Media Channels: Regularly cross‑post engaging content from Instagram to TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Grow our Followers: Help grow The Denman Group’s followers on: Instagram by 10% (from 1,900 people to 2,090 people); Facebook by 10% (from 896 people to 985 people) and Tik Tok (no metric available).

Videography & Editing

Video Content Creation: Use your videography skills to create stunning, engaging videos that highlight the beauty of our various real estate listings.

Generate Video Inventory: Come up with several videos that can be housed in a "video inventory" to be used across educational videos about real estate.

Create Neighborhood Video Content: Go to the top neighborhoods that we service to take video content that can be used in neighborhood spotlights, tours, business features, and more.

Film Key Meetings/Educational Events: Film key meetings that can be used for recruiting and coaching opportunities.

Edit and Compile Video Inventory: Work on creating evergreen video content that can be posted across social media throughout the year.

What We’re Looking For

Availability: Be available for 30+ hours per week, with potential for more as your skills grow and responsibilities expand. We are paying $15 - $17 per hour for this position.

Tech‑Savvy and Creative: You’re comfortable working across multiple platforms, have an eye for detail, and are skilled at creatively presenting information.

Strategic Thinker: You have a knack for crafting compelling marketing strategies and maximizing the reach of every piece of content.

Passionate Storyteller: You love sharing stories, creating meaningful connections, and promoting a brand’s mission.

Fluent in Social Media: You are well‑versed in all social media platforms and understand the unique nuances of each to maximize exposure for every piece of content.
