Description AllHealth Network is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to support the Marketing team with content development, internal communications, promotional materials, and media‑related initiatives. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in healthcare marketing, public relations, communications strategy, and brand‑based content creation while contributing to meaningful community‑focused work.
The intern will assist with writing, design, editing, and production of materials across multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, website updates, and internal announcements. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and able to think independently while working under the guidance of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist with a variety of projects, including but not limited to:
Design, write, edit, and review content for social media, marketing collateral, and other communications pieces as assigned
Help write and design ads, website content, flyers, brochures, and other collateral materials
Coordinate, compile, and distribute the weekly employee newsletter and employee announcements using SharePoint
Update the monthly drop‑in group calendar on the AllHealth Network website and distribute updates via Constant Contact
Support internal and external communications initiatives and special projects as needed
Assist with promotion of AllHealth Network programming through media opportunities, including:
Writing and editing press releases and public statements
Writing and editing articles and announcements as needed
Ensure brand compliance across all content and materials by adhering to AllHealth Network’s corporate identity/graphic standards and aligning messaging with the organization’s brand promise
Develop and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships while meeting agreed‑upon deadlines and delivering quality results
Other Requirements
Interns must be affiliated with a school during their placement with AllHealth Network. The school or its representative and AllHealth Network must have an established agreement, in writing in place regarding the terms of an intern’s placement prior to the start of an internship.
AllHealth Network employees are not eligible for internships while employed by the organization.
All internships are unpaid.
AllHealth Network does not employ or provide internships to current or former clients or those who have family members in treatment to avoid confidentiality concerns or conflicts of interest.
Interns may not practice in any language other than English unless she or he has passed the Human Resources approved proficiency examination.
Interns are expected to attend New Employee Orientation (NEO) as well as other required new hire and internship trainings and to complete all mandatory agency wide staff training requirements. Interns are also expected to give constructive feedback that evaluates their training and supervision experience and to be engaged in the learning process.
To participate in the development of a performance improvement plan if one is needed.
Keep track of hours as they accrue, per the requirements of their academic program.
AllHealth interns are encouraged to participate in all intern group meetings, trainings, and presentations. Licensing and Internship Supervisor will inform all interns of applicable meetings.
Video and audio taping for assignments is not permitted although it may be required by some academic programs. In cases where this is a requirement for students, they should apply elsewhere.
Titles and Hours Required:
Monday – Friday availability, 9am – 5pm with flexibility

Sophomore or higher in bachelor's program
Preferred program: Journalism, public relations, or marketing degree
