Assistant Clubhouse Dining Manager: Core Responsibilities Your specific hours will vary, so you'll need a flexible schedule to meet business demands.
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a must!
You'll work closely with the clubhouse dining manager to ensure all front-of-house and food and beverage operations are seamless, professional, and up to our club's high standards. Your focus will be on elevating the member experience while helping our team grow and improve.
Primary Duties
Leading all food and beverage services (poolside, banquet, a la carte, tournament, etc.) in alignment with our policies and operational standards
Overseeing and directing 2+ employees
Professionally engaging with members, answering questions, and resolving problems in a timely manner
Ensuring all staff members follow safety regulations
Completing opening, closing, and manager-on-duty procedures
Contributing to special projects as assigned by your manager
Staffing, Training, & Leadership
Recruiting top talent and delivering comprehensive training
Hiring and firing employees when appropriate
Making recommendations for promotions, discipline, and more
Contributing to staff coaching, counseling, performance management, and ongoing development
Monitoring labor hours, food and beverage costs, and clubhouse operations
Monitoring employee and member dress codes
Processing timely payroll and ensuring all policies and labor regulations are followed
What's Required? General Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations for a private club, hotel, resort, or similar high-end hospitality environment
Proven ability to build and foster a collaborative team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership skills with a positive, passionate, and hard-working attitude
Motivation to excel and strong attention to detail
Clear, effective, and professional verbal and written communication skills
Solid knowledge of food preparation and presentation
Working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
College degree in business management or hospitality management - preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to work irregular and extended hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and several consecutive hours
Ability to stoop, bend, balance food trays, move furniture, and lift 45+ lbs.
