About the Opportunity:
Solid Rock Recruiting is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a partnered truss manufacturing company that has a long and respected tenure in Florida and is growing.
Due to continued growth and strong project flow, the company is seeking a Lead Truss Designer who brings deep Alpine expertise and the ability to support a high-performing design team.
This role is open to remote candidates with the right experience and production mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Design roof and floor truss systems using Alpine
Review architectural plans and perform structural layouts
Lead complex residential and light commercial projects
Provide guidance and technical support to design staff
Collaborate with sales, estimating, and production teams
Ensure designs meet company standards and building codes
Support continuous improvement in design efficiency
Required Background
10 years of wood truss design experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Alpine required
Strong residential and light commercial experience
Proven track record handling production volume
Self-motivated and effective in a remote environment
Prior lead or senior designer experience strongly preferred
