Spectrum Signs & Graphics is seeking an
experienced Estimator
with a background in sign manufacturing or large format printing to join our growing team. This role prepares accurate quotes for large format printing, fabricated signage, and installation projects while working closely with sales, customer service, production and installation teams.

Sign shop or large format print production experience is required. **
Projects You’ll Estimate
• Exterior building signage
• Rigid signage (PVC, acrylic, aluminum composite)
• Wayfinding and ADA signage
• Backlit signage and lightboxes
• Retail signage and POP displays
• Banners and event graphics
• Vehicle graphics and wraps
• Window graphics and wall murals
Responsibilities
• Prepare estimates for large format printing and fabricated signage
• Calculate material, labor, finishing, and installation costs
• Determine efficient production methods
• Work with sales, CSRs, production and installations teams to clarify job specs
• Source pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Ensure quotes meet margin and profitability targets
Minimal Required Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in sign shop or large format printing environment
• Experience estimating large format print or signage projects
• Strong knowledge of sign materials such as vinyl, banner, PVC, acrylic, ACM
• Understanding of large format printing, laminating, routing, and finishing
• Ability to estimate installation requirements including fixtures, equipment
Preferred Experience
• Experience with HP Latex, UV flatbed, or solvent printers
• Familiarity with CNC routers, laminators, and cutting plotters
• Experience with estimating software or MIS systems
• Knowledge of sign fabrication and installation logistics
Physical Requirements
• Significant periods of sitting at desk
• Significant periods of screen time
• Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating artwork, copy, orders and other forms
• Ability to distinguish colors and shades
• Mobility sufficient to visit work sites as needed
• Oral communication in English (other language may be a plus)
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
