Mission description As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will work on the manufacturing processes of our products, develop systems to make processes more efficient, enforce quality control procedures to avoid production line problems, communicate with program managers and production personnel, and enforce safe practices in Industrial environments. During the internship, you will be learning the processes and operational requirements of the organization and performing the work to implement them. Your duties can span production planning, problem‑solving, troubleshooting processes and equipment, performing RCCA's, creating and developing work instructions, performing Lean, 5S and visual management best practices, floor mapping, presentations and report outs to the leadership teams, and other duties assigned.

Activities and tasks this internship will involve
Assist in creating the production element of the industrial dossier, mainly Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, Standardized work instructions, Floor Layouts.
Work with the Industrialization / Engineering teams to develop optimal production processes.
Assist in integrating the design, manufacture and implementation of new tools or prototypes.
Perform basic analysis and manage industrial process and product risks during development.
Understand and assist with machining, assembly lines, BOM creation, line layout concepts.
Working knowledge of assembly line manufacturing.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Candidate Skills & Requirements Intern (Candidate)
Able to work 3-6 month program, 29 hours maximum per week.
Recent graduates are welcome.
Highly detail oriented: able to correctly interpret complex tabulated specifications and to meticulously follow manufacturing flow, data entry, and related process requirements.
Basic knowledge of common materials and base manufacturing processes.
Basic knowledge of primary manufacturing processes like CNC machining and assembly work is desired.
Basic communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models, create 3D models and designs.
Good organization and communication skills.
Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally on assigned tasks.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Computer Skills
Advanced knowledge of CAD applications is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of other Microsoft products (SharePoint, Project) is preferred.
