Job Description Job Type: Full‑time KPM Carolinas is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as Leasing Consultant for our rapidly growing company. The Leasing Consultant position is responsible for marketing apartments and maintaining satisfied residents. The Leasing Consultant is a sales‑driven position that performs a variety of administrative tasks focused on the goal of maximum occupancy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greets prospective residents, processes applications, determines needs and preferences.
Professional presentation of community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.
Markets apartments according to the marketing plan and schedule while maintaining strong customer service.
Maintains a courteous and helpful attitude.
Delivers timely and remarkable customer service to all residents and prospective residents.
Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends, and contributes ideas to the Property Manager for marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction.
Be aware of company and community and be able to explain them to residents and prospective residents.
Follows established policies and procedures to maximize resident satisfaction and retention.
Maintains accurate resident files in accordance with company policy.
Resolves minor resident complaints and/or conflicts.
Assists the Property Manager in acceptance of all rent and fees, following company accounting and banking procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 1‑year experience in sales.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of property management concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus.
