Position: Broker Relations Manager

Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Structure

About the Role Advantage Plus Insurance Agency is seeking a driven and strategic Broker Relations Manager to oversee broker engagement, agent recruitment, and marketing initiatives throughout California. This individual will be responsible for strengthening relationships with our independent brokers, recruiting new agents and agencies, and driving Medicare Advantage growth by promoting our unmatched value proposition across key markets.

Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for independent brokers contracted with Advantage Plus.

Field Engagement: Conduct regular field visits to build and maintain strong, productive broker relationships.

Agent & Agency Recruitment: Proactively identify and recruit high-performing agents and agencies into the Advantage Plus distribution network.

Marketing & Outreach: Design and execute engagement strategies, training events, and marketing campaigns to increase agent activation and Medicare Advantage enrollment.

Provider Access: Create opportunities for brokers to engage with provider groups and act as a liaison between brokers and medical partners.

Insights & Strategy: Gather feedback and identify market needs to enhance Advantage Plus’s value proposition and growth potential.

Performance Tracking: Set and monitor lead generation and recruitment goals with regular progress reporting.

Cross-Collaboration: Work with internal teams, carriers, and provider groups to execute a comprehensive, year-round Medicare Advantage growth strategy.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage, health insurance sales, or broker/agency channel management.

Demonstrated success in agent/agency recruitment and relationship-building.

Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to travel frequently throughout California.

Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.

Compensation

Commission: Uncapped structure based on performance (including enrollments and recruitment)
