Role Description Under the general direction of Collins + Co.’s VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for leading both the organic and paid social media strategy for a portfolio of the firm’s clients. This role provides high-level strategic oversight, performance accountability and day-to-day leadership to ensure all social media and digital marketing activities are executed in alignment with client goals and in the context and spirit of Collins + Co.

The Social Media Manager serves as the strategic lead across platforms, ensuring integrated organic content, paid media performance and community engagement work together to drive measurable results.

Principal Accountabilities

Partner closely with VP of Marketing and the social media team to ensure client strategies align with overall company vision, growth initiatives and performance goals

Develop comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, lead generation and measurable ROI

Lead full-funnel paid social media campaign strategy, including audience development, budget allocation, A/B testing, optimization and performance reporting

Provide strategic oversight and implementation guidance for paid campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels

Oversee influencer engagement strategies and native advertising opportunities in collaboration with integrated communications leads

Own performance reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), delivering clear insights, strategic recommendations and forward-looking growth plans

Manage and mentor social media team members, providing guidance on content strategy, execution and professional development (if applicable)

Lead online community management strategy, ensuring active, thoughtful engagement and brand reputation monitoring, including occasional weekend oversight, as needed

Develop high-impact creative campaigns, including content direction, storytelling concepts and performance-focused creative testing

Create and execute social media deliverables outlined in strategic plans, ensuring quality and timeliness

Direct and produce photo shoots and other creative initiatives to build robust content libraries

Utilize design and content development skills to support infographics, stories, short‑form video and other visual assets

Continuously evaluate social media trends, platform updates and emerging best practices to enhance client performance and Collins + Co.’s digital capabilities

Establish and nurture key relationships with clients, influencers/creators, vendors and strategic partners

Analyze industry news and trends to proactively guide client strategy

Leverage social media management and advertising tools (e.g., Loomly, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) for scheduling, reporting, campaign execution and performance optimization

Qualifications

4–6+ years of progressive social media experience, with strong preference for agency experience

Demonstrated experience managing both organic and paid social media strategies with measurable results

Hands‑on experience managing paid media budgets and optimizing campaigns for performance

Strong understanding of analytics, KPIs and performance reporting across major platforms

Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities

Highly organized, strategic and results‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

Experience mentoring or leading team members preferred

Must be based in the Denver metro region with reliable transportation for in‑person meetings and client needs
