Cashiers Cashiers embody a customer first mindset and are always ready to greet and thank customers with a genuine smile. In this role, you will ensure a seamless checkout experience processing transactions with precision, securing customer information within our Point of Sale (POS) system, and upholding an immaculate cashwrap area.

Cashiers are the entry point for future roles within Ralph Lauren where you can begin to write your Next Great Chapter.

This position may be offered as full‑time or part‑time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.

Customer Service & Sales

Create exceptional customer experiences beginning with warm, welcoming greetings

Answer phones professionally and handle inquiries effectively

Engage in cross‑selling and upselling to enhance customer experience

Share product knowledge and passion for Ralph Lauren fashion with customers

Balance multiple tasks while maintaining customer service priority

Transaction Processing

Process all sales transactions efficiently (cash, credit, debit, checks)

Validate and inspect returned merchandise, ensuring that all merchandise returned is in saleable condition and eligible for return.

Escalate any concerns to management as needed.

Manage promotional offers and coupon redemption accurately

Execute Ship to Home orders with precision

Maintain customer profiles in POS system

Ensure accurate salesperson data capture

Process merchandise professionally (scanning, folding, bagging)

Store Operations

Maintain cleanliness of cash wrap, queue line, and surrounding areas

Capture reticket information for tag‑less merchandise

Support visual merchandising standards following company guidelines

Provide feedback to Management on product and category opportunities

Professional Development

Complete compliance, product knowledge and company trainings

Supports the store and team in finding top talent by engaging in networking and sourcing talent.

Maintain RL standards and procedures

Foster a positive and belonging work environment

Collaborate effectively with team members

Champion company core values and policies

Qualifications

Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high‑volume or high‑profile specialty environment preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.

Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.

Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).

Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co‑workers.
