Position Overview The Marketing Specialist is a hands‑on, creative individual responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining high‑quality marketing content and brand consistency for Relief Mental Health. This role focuses on creating content, building messaging, optimizing technology, and executing digital and physical marketing assets while partnering closely with the digital marketing specialist, clinical, operations, and growth teams. The Marketing Specialist blends strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, patient‑centered, and aligned with Relief Mental Health’s brand and clinical mission.

Job Title Marketing Specialist

Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Execution

Create, review, and finalize external‑facing content including social media posts, website copy, blog articles, advertising creative, and promotional materials

Develop and execute regional marketing strategies to support specific growth initiatives

Regularly review marketing materials and touchpoints to identify inconsistencies and opportunities to strengthen brand presence

Design and update interior and exterior clinic signage to ensure brand consistency

Work directly with vendors to update, replace, or install signage as needed

Email Marketing & CRM

Build, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns across patient and provider audiences using our CRM and email platform

Develop and maintain segmented email lists based on patient status, treatment interest, location, referral source, and engagement behavior

Design and execute automated drip campaigns for prospective patients at every stage of the funnel — from initial inquiry through consultation booked, treatment started, and beyond

Build provider‑facing email sequences to support business development outreach and referral partner nurturing

Monitor campaign performance (open rates, click‑through rates, conversion, unsubscribes) and report weekly on key metrics with actionable recommendations

Ensure all email communications are HIPAA‑compliant and align with Relief's brand voice and messaging guidelines

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, send times, content, and CTAs to continuously improve performance

Third‑Party Lead Generation Platforms

Own day‑to‑day management and optimization of all third‑party lead generation platforms including Psychology Today, Zocdoc, TMS near me, and similar directories

Monitor lead volume, quality, and cost‑per‑lead across all platforms and provide monthly performance reports

Ensure all platform listings are accurate, current, and fully optimized — including photos, bios, specialties, insurance information, and availability

Identify and evaluate new lead generation platforms and make recommendations for expansion or consolidation based on performance data

Coordinate with the clinical and operations teams to ensure lead gen capacity aligns with actual appointment availability

Digital Profile & Reputation Management

Own and maintain provider and clinic profiles across all digital channels including Google Business Profile, Healthgrades, Yelp, WebMD, Vitals, US News Health, and emerging platforms

Ensure consistency of name, address, phone number, hours, services, and imagery across every platform — no outdated information, no mismatched listings

Manage and respond to online reviews in alignment with HIPAA guidelines and Relief's patient communication standards

Proactively build out and optimize new profiles on emerging directories and healthcare platforms as the digital landscape evolves

Coordinate headshots, bios, and credential updates with clinical staff to keep all provider profiles current and professional

Support LinkedIn profile optimization for providers and leadership as part of Relief's broader thought leadership strategy

Website Content & Optimization

Create, update, and maintain website content across all service lines

Ensure accuracy of clinical offerings, provider information, and brand messaging

Use analytics and user behavior data to recommend and implement content improvements

Update and ensure all website content is conducive to target markets, utilizing buttons for leads, SEO optimized and up to date on all content strategies

Strategic Marketing Contribution

Track performance of marketing initiatives and adjust tactics based on results

Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform messaging and campaigns

Prepare insights and recommendations for leadership based on data and observed trends

Ensure marketing content aligns with compliance, regulatory, and brand requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

4+ years of hands‑on marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on content and brand execution

Experience developing and executing marketing content in healthcare or behavioral health preferred

Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, marketing/CRM technology, social media, and content management systems

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail

Required Skills

Ability to translate business goals into clear, actionable marketing content

Advanced writing and editing skills across multiple formats and channels

Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms

Strong understanding of brand consistency and message discipline

Experience working within website CMS platforms; basic HTML knowledge helpful

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare or behavioral health marketing experience, including HIPAA awareness

Experience across multiple marketing channels, especially digital

Familiarity with UX/UI principles and conversion‑focused content

Relevant certifications in marketing, branding, or digital strategy

Experience working directly with vendors and marketing platforms
