Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Interior Designer role located in Barrington, IL. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients and project teams to create elegant and functional interiors. Daily responsibilities include space planning, developing designs, preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects and contractors to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will manage timelines and budgets while maintaining the highest standards of design and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Experience in preparing Construction Drawings and collaborating with Architecture teams for detailed design execution.
Strong knowledge in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) selection and specification to achieve cohesive interiors.
Strong project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, and budget adherence.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with clients, contractors, and team members.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency with design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant platforms is preferred.
