
Search Engine Optimization Manager

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and reporting of organic search strategies for our clients. This role requires both technical SEO expertise and content strategy experience, with a strong understanding of how modern search algorithms, AI-powered search experiences, and user behavior influence rankings and visibility.
The SEO Manager will be responsible for identifying high-value keyword opportunities, implementing on-page and technical SEO improvements, and developing scalable content strategies that drive measurable improvements in organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
This role will also leverage modern SEO tools and AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency while maintaining high-quality, search-optimized content and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic keyword and topic targeting plans for client campaigns
Monitor keyword rankings, search visibility, and performance trends to inform optimization strategies
Conduct technical SEO audits, including crawlability, indexation, site structure, page speed, and schema implementation
Implement and optimize meta tags, title tags, alt attributes, structured data, and internal linking strategies
Identify opportunities for new content creation and content optimization to improve organic visibility
Produce and manage SEO-driven content strategies, including blog content, landing pages, and evergreen resources
Monitor and report on SEO performance, including rankings, traffic growth, conversions, and technical improvements
Manage local SEO presence, including Google Business Profile, Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp, and other local directories
Collaborate with internal teams on website updates and technical implementation through CMS platforms
Utilize modern SEO platforms and AI tools to support research, optimization, and reporting
Manage additional SEO projects and coordinate contract SEO support when necessary
Requirements
4+ years of professional SEO experience
Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices
Experience with keyword research and competitive analysis
Experience implementing meta tags, structured data/schema markup, and on-page SEO optimizations
Familiarity with site architecture, crawl/indexation management, and internal linking strategies
Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms for implementing website updates
Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Experience managing Local SEO listings and business directories
Ability to create client-facing reports and SEO performance audits
Strong written communication skills and experience developing SEO-driven content
