YOU As a Retail Sales Representative – National Retail, you will be responsible for building relationships and maintaining a positive retail experience with our National Retail customers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ( % of Time ) Call on existing and potential National Retail customers at the store level to build and maintain relationships as well as increase sales by looking for and pursuing opportunities for growth. (50%)
Install and maintain appropriate marketing materials in all customer accounts, determine and secure suitable areas to cross merchandise, build and maintain displays and POP materials. Selling, cross-merchandising, building and maintaining displays/P.O.P. materials (30%)
Coordinate with management and other field sales personnel to ensure execution of territory projects, initiatives, and opportunities. Track and analyze POS sales numbers to determine program/project effectiveness and make needed adjustments to maximize sales. (10%)
Occasional installation of new store sets and existing store resets. Perform in store product knowledge presentations for store associates and customers. Log customer engagements in Salesforce and other similar administrative duties. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
Associate’s degree, or 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Creative, hardworking, and positive attitude with some basic carpentry skills.
Ability to safely use common construction tools such as, but not limited to, hammer, saw, and drill
Must reside in the territory
Good driving record
Windows-based computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Self-starter with good organizational skills
Ability to work well with people
Good communication skills
Some overnight travel
Good product knowledge and/or construction related knowledge
Ability to self-manage projects, tasks, travel/work schedule
Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork
Administrative duties such as expense and call reporting and others as required in a timely manner

WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED This job requires 50% domestic travel. Territory is the state of GA with some occasional travel required for internal / external meetings or other
WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, exempt position is located in Atlanta & surrounding areas.
RELOCATION Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY $53,700 - $65,300 / year
