Position Overview – Architect / Designer We are seeking a talented, full-time
Architect / Designer
to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong designer who is highly motivated, well organized, and thoughtful in their approach to design. They should have experience working as part of a collaborative design team and possess strong communication skills. We value individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy contributing to a creative studio environment.
Responsibilities
Perform design assignments including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
Generate presentations, construction documents, specifications, and material selections required throughout concept and construction phases
Provide design support and documentation during the development and execution of design concepts
Coordinate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
Skills / Requirements
Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school
Revit proficiency is required. Familiarity with standard architectural tools including Rhino, Bluebeam, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is expected
Ability to work locally at our Los Angeles office with authorization to work in the United States
3–5 years of relevant professional experience
Registered Architect preferred, but not required
Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Desired Experience
Experience working across all project phases, from concept through construction completion
Direct project experience within Los Angeles building standards and regulations
Working knowledge of building codes, local permitting processes, entitlement procedures, and building construction
Experience coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external consultants, including full documentation coordination with engineering and design consultants
