Seattle Baby & Toddler Nanny
Anannyforu, Seattle, WA, United States
Welcoming Seattle family is seeking an experienced, professional nanny to provide attentive, child-focused care for their 3-year-old daughter and newborn (due any day!). This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who thrives in the infant stage, enjoys the toddler years, and is looking to grow alongside a family for multiple years.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident balancing the evolving needs of a preschooler and a baby, and who brings genuine passion, initiative, and heart to their work.
About the Family This family values open communication, consistency, and a calm, structured environment. Their 3-year-old attends daycare Mon-Wed, until transitioning to full-time in the fall. Much of the role will focus on nurturing and supporting their newborn, while confidently managing both children when together.
Dad works outside of the home, and Mom works from a dedicated home office. They are seeking a nanny who is outgoing, confident, balanced, and relational. Their ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and builds strong, long-term connections.
They have one short-haired indoor cat and will provide a family vehicle for work-related driving.
Responsibilities
Newborn care support: feeding, diapering, naps, soothing, and developmental engagement
Planning age‑appropriate activities for both children (reading, music, sensory play, outings, etc.)
Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
Preschool pick‑up/drop‑off and child‑related errands
Children’s laundry, dishes, and maintaining tidy play spaces
Creating a consistent, structured, and nurturing daily rhythm
Qualifications
2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience required)
CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
Ability and desire to commit long‑term
Guaranteed hours
Paid time off
Medical stipend
Legal pay in accordance with WA state labor laws
If you are a warm, self‑directed nanny who brings genuine care, confidence, and joy to your work, we would love to connect with you!
