Location:

This is an on‑site role in St. George, Utah (in‑person collaboration is key because the practice is nuanced and training‑intensive).

Note:

Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the Utah State Bar, and must have 2+ years of experience in community association (HOA) law or real estate law.

Job Description

Advise HOA and condominium association boards, property managers, and related clients on governance, compliance, enforcement, and risk management

Handle covenant enforcement matters and homeowner disputes from early strategy through resolution

Draft and negotiate real estate‑related agreements and legal documents tied to association and property matters

Manage litigation tasks as needed, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediation prep, and court appearances

Perform legal research and write clear, persuasive briefs and client‑facing guidance

Communicate confidently with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders

Stay current on Utah developments impacting real estate, community associations, and related civil litigation issues

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

2+ years of experience in community association (HOA) law or real estate law

Strong writing and issue‑spotting skills with the ability to explain complex rules in plain English

Organized, client‑service oriented, and comfortable owning matters with appropriate support

Litigation experience is a plus (but not required if your HOA/real‑estate background is strong)
