About The Mortgage Loan Processor Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dedicated lending team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the administrative and clerical facets of the residential mortgage process, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from application to underwriting.

The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for coordinating and managing the administrative aspects of the residential lending process. This includes verifying documentation accuracy, gathering additional information required for underwriting, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams to facilitate efficient loan processing.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Documentation & Verification: Verify all Encompass database information against original documents to ensure precision; Conduct preliminary reviews of credit reports and assess borrower financial information; Perform thorough preliminary and final reviews of all loan documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Customer & Partner Communication: Coordinate property appraisals and facilitate their timely delivery to clients; Order flood determinations to meet regulatory requirements; Generate, review, and send crucial loan disclosures, including Loan Estimates and settlement service provider paperwork; Maintain ongoing communication with clients, real estate agents, and internal teams through timely correspondence and updates.

Compliance & Quality Control: Run Mavent Compliance Testing to uphold regulatory standards; Track receipt of 3-day disclosures and other critical documentation timelines; Support adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements throughout the loan process.

Pipeline & Support Operations: Maintain an organized, up-to-date loan pipeline to support efficient workflow; Provide comprehensive support to branch personnel and clients, ensuring a smooth loan experience; Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the processing cycle.

Qualifications Required

High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience welcomed.

Prior customer service experience with a focus on professionalism and client satisfaction.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Well-organized with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Independent worker with a collaborative attitude.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.

Access to reliable transportation.

Preferred

Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field.

Schedule Full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (occasionally 6:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays), occasional Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM as job duties demand.

Physical Demands Primarily sedentary; includes use of standard office equipment.
