Position Description This position is accountable for the planning, organizing, staffing, and controlling of the North American sales and marketing activities for the house‑account customers of Modine’s Heat Transfer Products division. This position provides the commercial leadership driving business growth through processes and services that meet and exceed customer expectations utilizing sales strategies and tactics aligned with Modine objectives. This job is responsible for sales in our Grenada, MS and Juarez, MX locations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all sales and marketing related functions associated with key House accounts, providing both technical and commercial assistance
Customer development and management through in‑person and remote customer interfacing
Supervise team focused on improving and expanding Modine's reach to customer base (Applications Engineering, Customer Service, Drafting)
Contract negotiation and management
Sales forecasting and planning
Assist Sales Director with initiatives related to new business development
Provide oversight for inside sales and product group teams to promote efficient utilization of Modine support resources and processes
Coordination with Operations and other functional areas to ensure that Modine is meeting the expectations of our customer base
Provide guidance to internal functional departments with regard to design, quality, process and priorities
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of experience in sales or engineering related to the heat exchanger industry
5 or more years of leadership experience
Experience in Customer Service, Manufacturing, or managing accounts
Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
Ability in the development and presentation of business analysis and proposals
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving/decision making skills with experience in the supervision of others
Computer aptitude and the ability to learn Modine SAP system
Ideal Qualifications
Experience in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer
Eager to learn, driven, hard‑working, task focused, goal oriented, and a team player
Travel Requirements
