
Event Sales Coordinator

You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from menu planning to evaluating success during and afterwards. An event sales coordinator must be well-organized and competent in daily restaurant operations. Communication skills and attention to detail. Cold Calling and canvassing local businesses to increase event sales. Monday-Friday, hours will vary based on call volume.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsibilities
Understand requirements for each event
Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
Respond in a timely fashion to emails and voicemails
Present for Manager Meetings to discuss BEO’s for the week and expectations
Execute or Assist in Execution of Events when needed. (Required for Buyouts or Minimum spend amounts over $7500.)
Communication with the General Manager & Executive Chef on pop ups and items needed for BEO’s
Work with the Operations Event Manager to outline all the details on set up and execution of events. (if applicable)
Meet monthly budgets dictated by Corporate
Sales and Client Relations:
Proactively manage leads for assigned venues, responding promptly to inquiries and converting leads into booked events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service to meet their event needs.
Conduct site tours, present proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure private events bookings.
Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including menu selections, timelines, and floor plans, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Event Detailing and Coordination:
Collaborate with clients to finalize event details and provide seamless communication throughout the planning process.
Work closely with the Operations Event Manager to ensure successful on-site execution of events.
Follow up with client’s post-event to gather feedback and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Operational Support:
Assist with unit-level operational tasks as needed, including coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure readiness for events.
Support on-site event logistics occasionally, stepping in to assist with setup, execution, or troubleshooting.
Maintain a strong understanding of restaurant operations to bridge the gap between sales and service teams effectively.
Administrative Duties:
Track sales metrics, including lead conversion rates and revenue goals, and report progress to the Event Director.
Manage payment schedules and follow up on outstanding balances with clients.
Ensure accurate and organized documentation of contracts, event details, and communications.
Work with the Operations Event Manager to update and close out all events in Tripleseat.
