About Coeur d’Alene Resort The Coordinator will support the Sales, Catering and Conference Services Managers with daily activities and specific responsibilities related to incoming leads and facilitation of customer events. The role will include interaction with internal managers and external clients while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role will periodically be required to be available in-person for catered events on evenings and weekends.
The Role As a Sales and Catering Coordinator, you will assist with event planning, coordinate details with clients and internal teams, and help deliver exceptional service for weddings, meetings, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Field and qualify inquiries, provide basic information
Responsible for sales and service of events as assigned
Provide support for special projects and contribute to the enhancement of work processes and systems
Generate contracts and banquet event orders for customer review, signature and distribution
Deposit collection and follow-up through Sertifi
In person coordination as needed with catering event planners while on-site
Create menus and labels for food & beverage events
Contact vendors to source items needed for events
Assist with pre-planning and site visits including setting up transportation, dining reservations, golf & spa appointments, guestroom reservations and creating the agenda for the clients to review
What We’re Looking For
Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
One year of food and beverage or catering experience preferred
Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
Must be able to work individually and in a team environment
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office and event management tools
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
