Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a personable, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Akron, OH. As part of Saint-Gobain, a Top Global Employer for 11 consecutive years, you'll play a key role in ensuring exceptional support for our customers and smooth internal operations.

In this role, you serve as a direct link between our customers and the business. You will respond to inquiries, provide technical and application support, initiate order processing, issue price quotes, and maintain communication with Inside and Field Sales, all while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Is this job for you ?

High school diploma or equivalent required.

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

3 years of customer service experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to be proactive and demonstrate strong self-initiative.

Strong Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Customer Focus and Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport, listen actively, deliver exceptional service, and serve as the primary customer contact.

Organization and Attention to Detail: Critical for managing orders, processing returns and credits, monitoring production, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Proactive Problem-Solving & Initiative: A self-starter who anticipates needs, identifies potential issues early, follows up diligently, and supports continuous improvement.
