Lead Talent Management Partner, Performance Systems & AI

Hubspot, Cambridge, MA, United States

Lead Talent Management Partner, Performance Systems & AI People Team Remote - USA POS-10070

The HubSpot People team is on a mission to help our internal Grow Getters grow better, together. We’re looking for a systems-minded Talent Management leader who believes that great talent practices are only as strong as the infrastructure behind them.

This is a strategic talent systems and operations role focused on performance management, talent assessments, and AI-enabled infrastructure. It is not a Talent Acquisition or Recruiting role.

If you are passionate about systems architecture, AI-powered workflows, operational excellence, and building durable, scalable processes and you love turning complex talent philosophies into elegant, high-impact workflows, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing: As the systems and operations lead for performance and talent practices, you will design and power the infrastructure and processes that make our talent philosophy scalable, data‑driven, and tightly aligned to business outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate: You are a systems thinker first and foremost. You see broken workflows before others do. You instinctively ask, “How does this scale?” and “Can this be automated?” You are energized by building the infrastructure that allows great talent strategies to thrive.

You combine:

Strategic talent management and performance expertise (not recruiting or talent acquisition)

Deep operational rigor

Technical curiosity and comfort with HR technology

Strong project management and stakeholder management

Holistic view of all talent practices to integrate them seamlessly for end users

You are equally comfortable whiteboarding a future‑state performance solution and configuring operations to make it real.

Responsibilities:

Own the systems behind performance & talent: Architect and optimize the workflows and integrations that power performance management and enable seamless integration between talent and total reward practices.

Drive our performance tech & AI roadmap: Partner with HRIS, IT and analytics teams to enhance tools, leverage AI, improve automation, and ensure clean, reliable talent data.

Build scalable governance & operational rigor: Establish sustainable processes, documentation, controls, and reporting to ensure consistency, compliance and long‑term effectiveness.

Lead end‑to‑end program delivery: Translate talent strategy into executable system‑enabled programs – from design and configuration through launch, adoption and continuous improvement.

Drive cross‑functional stakeholder management: Establish clear governance, communication and alignment across People Partners, business leaders, HRIS and Total Rewards to ensure talent systems and processes meet evolving business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, People Operations, or HR Programs with significant ownership of systems‑enabled performance processes.

Direct experience implementing or optimizing performance management and/or employee assessment systems.

Strong understanding of Workday and ServiceNow.

Experience partnering closely with HRIS, IT or People Systems teams on integrations, automation, or system enhancements.

Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional programs from concept through technical implementation and adoption.

Experience leveraging AI or advanced analytics to enhance People processes.

Strong project and change management skills; able to manage multiple workstreams with operational precision.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and explain them clearly to any audience.

Passion for continuous improvement, experimentation, and building scalable infrastructure.

Pay & Benefits The cash compensation below includes base salary, on‑target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range: $119,200 — $190,700 USD
