About the Role: As a Real Estate Runner, you’ll play a critical role in our acquisitions team, bidding on properties at courthouse steps and helping secure opportunities to revitalize communities. This is a field-based role that involves extensive driving between properties and auctions.
You’ll need to think on your feet, make decisive calls, and communicate effectively while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. If you enjoy being on the road and want to make a direct impact in real estate investment, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
Support our acquisitions team by bidding on properties at courthouse steps
Drive to properties daily throughout the designated area
Inspect properties for occupancy
Make general assessments on the current conditions and quality of neighborhoods and communicate with the project manager
Deliver Change of Ownership forms
Install and pick up lockboxes and ensure keys are at properties when needed
Deliver checks to contractors and vendors, as well as pick up and deliver supplies
Oversee lockouts and trash-outs as needed
Use our proprietary systems and mobile tools to streamline data quickly and efficiently

Willingness to knock on doors and speak with occupants
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Excellent work ethic
Valid driver’s license in good standing
