
Kitchen Bath Designer

What You’ll Do
As a Kitchen & Bath Designer, you will guide homeowners through the design process and develop detailed plans ready for construction.
Applicants should submit a portfolio showing recent kitchen or bath designs, including layouts, elevations, and completed project photos if available.
Client Consultation
Meet with homeowners in our showroom to understand their goals, style preferences, and functional needs
Lead clients through design decisions, including layout, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes
Present design concepts and revisions in a clear, professional way
Design Development
Create custom kitchen and bath layouts using professional design software
Develop detailed plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
Apply strong space planning principles and NKBA guidelines
Project Planning
Collaborate with our internal team to develop project budgets and proposals
Prepare final plans and specifications for production
Prepare bid documents and final contract.
Material Selection & Ordering
Help clients select cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, and other materials
Order materials and track deliveries to ensure projects stay on schedule
Construction Support
Visit job sites periodically to review progress with the project manager
Assist with design-related questions during construction
Manage design revisions, change orders, and warranty items when needed
You will typically manage
2–4 projects in the design phase at a time , guiding each client through a structured design process before construction begins.

NKBA certification
or strong familiarity with NKBA design standards
Experience using
2020 Design and/or Chief Architect
Training in interior design, kitchen design, or space planning
A strong understanding of cabinetry systems, fixtures, appliances, and finishes
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
A high level of attention to detail
