Applications Invited for Artistic Director of Carmina and Illuminare Carmina and Illuminare – sibling chamber choirs based in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC and specializing in repertoire from the medieval, renaissance, and early baroque eras – seek a new Artistic Director. Responsibilities include selecting music, leading weekly rehearsals, and arranging venues for three concert programs per season, as well as assisting in audience outreach and development activities. Anticipated compensation for this part‑time position is $9,000‑11,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Applications will begin to be reviewed on 6 April 2026.
