ROLE OVERVIEW: The Senior Director of Visual Merchandising & Creative Services is responsible for shaping and executing the brand’s visual expression across all channels. This role oversees Visual Merchandising, Creative Services, and supporting New Store Openings, ensuring a cohesive and elevated brand experience from concept through execution. This leader will drive the visual storytelling of the brand across all retail and wholesale doors, marketing assets, and customer touchpoints while building scalable processes that support continued retail expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Visual Merchandising Leadership

Develop and lead the global visual merchandising strategy across all retail locations

Create seasonal visual direction, window concepts, and in-store merchandising standards that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling

Partner with retail leadership to ensure consistent execution across all stores

Establish and maintain VM guidelines, standards, and training programs for store teams

Oversee new product launches and seasonal floor sets to ensure impactful in-store presentation

Partner with Buying and Merchandising on the in-store rail presentation and mannequin styling per collection

Oversee the Visual upkeep and presentation standards of the stores

Partner with Merchandising and Wholesale on the setup of the showroom for market

Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners including the Regional Directors team, Events, and VIC to support visual merchandising initiatives and ensure alignment across retail and brand experiences

Creative Services Oversight

Ideation, sourcing, and execution of seasonal store and window installs

Support of Brand and VIC events in the showroom, in-store and at pop-up locations

Lead the Creative Services team, overseeing the development and production of marketing assets and visual elements to support the retail store fleet product and event calendar

Ensure alignment with brand marketing cadence and cohesive execution of visual campaigns across the fleet in line with the omni-channel calendar

Partner with Marketing, E-commerce, and Brand teams to bring campaigns and product storytelling to life

Manage creative workflows, production timelines, and resource allocation across projects

New Store Openings

Oversee the visual merchandising and creative execution of all new store openings and remodels

Partner with Project Manager, Store Design, Retail Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless launch execution

Develop scalable processes for merchandising and visual setup of new stores

Manage visual merchandising strategies specific to each new market while maintaining brand standards

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and mentor teams across Visual Merchandising and Creative Services, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and operational excellence

Build scalable team structures and processes to support retail growth

Partner cross-functionally with Retail, Marketing, Brand, E-commerce, and Operations leadership

Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and external creative partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in visual merchandising, creative direction, or brand creative leadership, preferably within fashion or luxury retail

Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across visual merchandising and creative production

Strong understanding of retail storytelling, customer experience, and brand presentation

Experience supporting retail expansion and new store openings

Highly collaborative leader with strong project management and organizational skills

Ability to balance creative vision with operational execution

Strong communication skills
