Board-Eligible, Board-Certifiable, or Board-Certified Rheumatologists to join a collaborative medical team that provides
specialized care for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. This opportunity offers a supportive clinical environment, access to modern diagnostic resources, and strong collaboration with primary care providers and specialists.
Position Overview The Rheumatologist will diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune disorders. The role will primarily involve outpatient care, with the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive treatment and long-term disease management.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat autoimmune and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and other connective tissue disorders
Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatologic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and biologic therapies
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical collaboration

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Rheumatology
Completion of an accredited
Internal Medicine
residency program
Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship program
Eligible for or able to obtain a New York medical license
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing chronic autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
Interest in collaborative patient care and long-term disease management
