Qualifications
Licensure: Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living environment preferred.
Skills: Ability to lead group exercises, crafts, and social events. Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing daily resident activity calendars.
Lead group social events, holiday celebrations, and individual room visits.
Transport residents to local outings using facility transportation.
Document resident participation and progress notes in electronic medical records.
Maintain activity supplies and organize common areas for events.
Coordinate with the nursing department to ensure resident safety during programs.
