Summary The Marketing Assistant II supports various cross‑functional areas such as administration, operations, outside vendors, and consultants to implement the marketing strategy of the firm. This position is supervised by a manager and is responsible for supporting other departments and managers to meet the firm’s immediate requirements. The role will showcase and promote SESI’s and EcoStable’s services and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing: create and edit graphic assets, draft engaging copy for social media posts, advertising, and website content; post and schedule content across platforms; assist in managing social media, intranet, and website performance; maintain and organize digital assets and files.
Marketing Collateral: assist in creating marketing materials (e.g., brochures, newsletters) as directed by the Marketing Manager; proofread communications and marketing materials for grammar, spelling, and consistency; contribute to marketing portions of RFPs; support other departments in communication goals; collect materials (project and people photos, office design, event handouts).
External Marketing Efforts: support management of client contact information and distribution lists; process sponsorship registrations and assist in award applications; assist in event preparation (company, conventions, career fairs); participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, flag issues, engage in professional development, and coordinate monthly marketing meetings.

Experience: Three years or more in a related field.
Language: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; read and interpret documents; write reports and business correspondence; present information to managers, clients, customers, and public.
Computer: Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Suite; adaptable to new technologies.
Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands: ability to talk/hear, use hands, lift up to 50 lb, meet vision requirements; low‑moderate noise environment.
Work Environment: hybrid policy; 5‑10% travel, occasional overnight or out‑of‑state; may require nights or weekends; typical office environment, mostly indoors with windows; shared space may have interruptions, conversations, or other background noise.
Compensation Base salary $55,000–$75,000 plus benefits, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, professional development opportunities, 401(k), and bonus potential.
