Job Description As a Copy Writer for Turning Point Action's Media Department, you will be responsible for writing persuasive copy to strengthen the TPAction brand. This includes, but is not limited to, writing compelling scripts for a weekly podcast, creating hooks and messaging that align and enhance our brand, as well as working with other departments to ensure consistency across all communications.
Primary Responsibilities
Create compelling and interesting scripts for a podcast show airing weekly.
Edit and proofread copy for accuracy.
Research topics to ensure all scripts are captivating and accurate.
Help plan episodes and other podcast details.
Create written content for various TPAction departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills.
Highly organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Must be able to work in the office at our Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
Strong and efficient writing skills.
Passion for conservative ideas and principles.
A self‑starter and has a goal‑oriented mindset.
Applies feedback constructively to improve performance.
WOW Skills
Has experience working on political campaigns or organizations.
Prior involvement with Turning Point Action, its affiliates, and/or political campaigns.
