
Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Requirements
Must Have
Bachelors degree or 4+ additional years of cyber experience in place of a degree
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
IAT Level II certification required (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
Proficient in both Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment
Familiar with COTS technologies utilized in a Cybersecurity Operations Center
Knowledgeable about database and operating system security
Strong grasp of current security principles, techniques, and protocols
CSSP-IR certification (CySA+, CEH) preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Capability to engage effectively with senior management at various levels
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with an ability to seek information, evaluate options, prioritize, and implement best practices
Must demonstrate the ability to multitask, work independently, and collaboratively, adjust workloads, and adapt to changing project priorities
Must possess a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Physical ability to remain stationary 50% of the time
Occasionally move about within the office to access resources and communicate with colleagues and clients
Responsibilities
Detect, identify, and report on potential cyber-attacks, intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse incidents – Analyze network traffic and system data to identify unusual activities and potential threats to resources – Conduct security event and incident correlation using information gathered from various sources across the enterprise – Perform triage on cyber incidents to ascertain scope, urgency, and potential impact, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending actions for quick remediation – Track and document cyber incidents from initial detection through to final resolution – Assess and analyze damage to data and infrastructure resulting from cyber incidents – Conduct trend analysis on cyber incidents and provide reporting – Support a Monday to Friday schedule with on‑call availability for 24×7 cyber operations as necessary
