Our client, a leadingU.S. retailer, is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist to join their team. As a Digital Accessibility Specialist
you will be part of the Accessibility Center of Excellence supporting cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Support the Accessibility Center of Excellence by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver accessible digital experiences.
Conduct audits of design systems and content management platforms to ensure accessibility compliance.
Perform manual and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms, ensuring adherence to WCAG 2.2 AA and related standards.
Identify accessibility barriers, document defects, and develop high-quality reports and recommendations for remediation.
Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote best accessibility practices across the organization.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or related roles in product development environments.
Deep hands-on expertise with assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dragon, switch access, magnification tools).
Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508, with the ability to map findings to standards.
Experience translating accessibility requirements into actionable design and development recommendations.
Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.
