JR101789**Job Description Summary:**To support laboratory continuous improvement by assisting in training implementation, process standardization, audit readiness, and improvement initiatives. The position bridges training, quality, technical and operations by ensuring that process changes translate into clear documentation, effective staff training, and measurable improvement.**Job Description:*** Assist with lab-specific onboarding, refresher, and cross-training programs across departments, including scheduling, competency and training delivery as needed* Maintain training records and curricula within the quality system and ensure training aligns with current SOPs, workflows, and process changes* Monitor training status (overdue training, retraining triggers, competency gaps) and communicate risks or trends to the CI Manager* Support the Quality team by preparing training documentation and evidence for audits and assisting with audit readiness activities and inspections* Assist the CI Manager with continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, workflow observations, and implementation of standardized work practices* Participate in process mapping, time studies, and follow-up verification to ensure improvements are adopted and sustained* Assist in updating SOPs, job aids, and visual work instructions, and ensure documentation changes are clear, triggering appropriate training updates* Track and compile training and improvement data, including corrective actions related to training or process findings, for CI and leadership review* Support professional development initiatives such as skills development, workplace culture, and education aligned with departmental and organizational needs* Reinforce safe work practices by assisting and leading safety-related training, procedure updates, and follow-up actions related to incidents, near-misses, or audit observations**Job Requirements:*** Strong organizational and documentation skills* High School diploma or equivalent* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees* Computer literate, experience in keyboard operation, Microsoft Word and Excel* Ability to maintain records and to generate reports that require extreme accuracy* Experience with SOPs, audits, competency-based training, or supporting process improvement initiatives* Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality**USA Benefits:**Aviagen provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the healthcare and financial well-being of our employees.
