Assists the production supervisor to lead the production team to achieve daily Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals. Directs manufacturing personnel on production lines to ensure the correct products are being built efficiently and identifies areas of improvement using lean tools. Sustains a positive work environment in alignment with company core values. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Provides input to supervisor on SQDC goals and metrics and overall team performance Encourages and supports a safety and quality first culture
ensures manufacturing personnel are following SOPs Sets staffing plans and communicates downtimes to ensure a smooth flow of production Monitors daily performance and adjusts plans as needed to help team members achieve production goals Executes the training plan and provides input for improvement to ensure team members are setup for success Understands and provides input on equipment/line capacity, flow of operations, and line constraints Understands and engages in lean tools and continuous improvement culture Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, training, materials/planning teams, and downstream customers Communicates proficiently using various forms of communication Sustains and leads by example with BSC's Core Values & Behaviors to enable a positive work culture Builds product by following all processes in which certified (in their most current revision), and completing other assigned work, while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics Required Qualifications:
1 year of experience with high school diploma/degree/equivalent Preferred Qualifications:
2 year of experience with high school diploma/degree/equivalent The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
