This is a critical leadership role that combines clinical expertise with administrative excellence.**The Opportunity:*** **Position:** Full-Time Director of Staff Development* **Salary:** **$104,000 per year*** **Location:** McClure Post Acute* **Benefits:** Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and PTO)**Your Leadership Impact:**As the DSD, you are the architect of our facility’s clinical competency and culture.* **Education & Training:** Plan, implement, and evaluate all facility orientation, job skills training, and in-service education for nursing staff.* **Recruitment & Culture:** Coordinate the hiring and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are prepared for success from day one.* **Regulatory Excellence:** Maintain all records for in-services as required by state and federal regulations; participate in licensing and certification surveys.* **Clinical Oversight:** Collaborate with the DON and Administrator to monitor the delivery of patient care, coordinate infection control surveillance, and step in for direct resident care as needed.* **Safety Leadership:** Plan and conduct required fire and disaster drills to ensure facility-wide preparedness.* **Staff Empowerment:** Identify educational needs through facility rounds and evaluations, generating enthusiasm for professional growth among the team.**Qualifications:*** **Licensure:** Current, valid **California LVN License** (RNs also encouraged to apply).* **Experience:** + Minimum of (1) year of experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility. + Minimum of (1) year of experience planning and implementing nursing education programs.* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with **PointClickCare (PCC)** is highly preferred.* **Soft Skills:** Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to relate positively to residents, families, and staff.* **Certification:** Current CPR Certification.* **High-Level Compensation:** A top-of-market salary of $104k for a dedicated educator.* **Professional Autonomy:** Take ownership of the education calendar and training programs.* **Supportive Leadership:** Work hand-in-hand with a management team that values quality care and staff development.**Apply today to join our leadership team!**PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country.
